Skoda Auto India has recently launched the all-new Skoda Slavia premium mid-size sedan in the country. The new Skoda Slavia replaces the Rapid in the company’s Indian portfolio and it has been positioned as a more premium offering than its predecessor. Prices of this mid-size sedan are now out and it is available at dealerships as well. In this article, we will be sharing with you all the First Look impressions of the new 2022 Skoda Slavia.
2022 Skoda Slavia: Exterior Highlights
The new Skoda Slavia is one really good looking sedan. It boasts a sharp design and draws a lot of eyeballs out on the streets. In fact, this mid-size sedan looks striking. Talking about colours, Skoda India is offering the Slavia in a total of five different colour shades. They are – Tornado Red, Crystal Blue, Candy White, Reflex Silver and Carbon Steel.

2022 Skoda Slavia: Interior Highlights
The new 2022 Skoda Slavia is a very feature-loaded car and there are no two ways about it. Moreover, it has a lot of space inside the cabin. It features a large 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Some other features of the new Slavia include an electric sunroof, a fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, and safety features like six airbags and more.
2022 Skoda Slavia: Engine and Gearbox
Skoda is offering the Slavia with two engine options. It gets a 1.0-litre TSI motor that develops 115 PS and 178 Nm. This engine is paired with a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed torque-converter AT. It also gets a 1.5-litre TSI motor that develops 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of peak torque. This engine is offered with a 6-speed MT and a 7-speed DSG.
2022 Skoda Slavia: Price and Rivals
The new 2022 Skoda Slavia mid-size sedan is offered in three variants. They are – Active, Ambition and Style. The prices of this premium mid-size sedan start in India at Rs 10.69 lakh and it goes up to Rs 17.79 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. The new Skoda Slavia rivals the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, Honda City, and the upcoming VW Virtus.
