Hyundai Motor India has announced it has successfully completed the durability tests for Alcazar, its 7-seater SUV based on the Creta. The upcoming Hyundai Alcazar comes covered in a unique castle-themed camouflage which is a unique way to camouflage a vehicle.

According to the maker, the new Alcazar would offer good performance, durability while offering good comfort too.

A video by the maker itself showcases the camouflaged Hyundai Alcazar through a trailer video that presents first-hand glimpses of a bold and dynamic C-Pilar, LED Headlamps, and Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels. They also claim that the Hyundai Alcazar has also passed challenging weather conditions to ensure this fortress is built to last.

The Hyundai Alcazar will be offered with a 152hp 2.0-litre engine which is often present in Tucson and Elantra. It doesn’t share its engine with Creta (1.5-litre NA – 115hp and 1.4-litre turbo – 140hp) instead of that, it boasts a more powerful engine under the hood. It can even come up with a  6-speed manual or either with a 6-speed torque automatic gearbox transmission.

On the diesel,1.5-litre 115hp diesel which is found in Creta with some refinements will be powering this diesel variant of the three-seater Alcazar. Just like the petrol one, this can even have the same gearbox which is a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque convertor automatic.

Recently the company also started to take pre-bookings for this SUV, while the global debut for the car would be happening this week.
