Hero MotoCorp has added two new scooters in its international portfolio. Maestro Edge 125 and Pleasure+ 110 are the two new unveils by the company, with starting prices of Rs 58,500 and Rs 47,300 (ex-showroom) respectively. With their sales set to commence over the coming weeks, here is all you need to know about their variants and what they have to offer.

Hero Maestro Edge 125

Hero MotoCorp hails the Maestro Edge 125 as the first scooter in India to come with a fuel-injection system. The variant of the scooter with fuel injection has been priced at Rs 62,700. Another, i3S version with drum brakes costs Rs 58,500 while that with disc brakes comes at Rs 60,000. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

The two classes, FI and i3S, differ slightly in their performance outputs. The FI variant, first (and currently the only one) in India of its class, is able to churn out 9.1 bhp @7000 rpm and a maximum torque of 10.2Nm @5000 rpm, numbers unmatched in the 125 cc scooter segment in the country for their Power to Weight ratio.

As for the i3S (Carb) variant, the 125cc Energy Boost Engine produces 8.7 bhp at 6750 rpm and maximum torque of 10.2 Nm at 5000 rpm. The i3S, or ‘Idle-stop-start system’, is able to further max the efficiency of the scooter.

A look at the design of the Maestro Edge 125 reveals several features like the diamond-cut cast wheels, textured seats, sharp front cover and apron, a sleek rear cowl, an LED signature and tail-lamp as well as frost winkers.

Hero MotoCorp has added several features for comfort as well, including a mobile charging port, remote key opening, side-stand indicator, boot lamp, external fuel port and digital-analogue meter. The scooter also lets you know when its service is due, thanks to an in-built service-due reminder.

The Maestro Edge 125 FI will be available in two colors– Pearl White with Brown inner panel & Astro Gold front forks and Panther Black with a sporty Red inner panel.

The i3S (Carb) variant will come in an all Matt finish – Matt Red, Matt Blue, Matt Brown and Matt Vernier Grey.

Hero Pleasure+ 110

The Pleasure+ 110 comes in a single variant that packs an 8 bhp output at 7500 rpm and a torque of 8.7 Nm at 5500 rpm, all through a 110cc engine. The retro design of the scooter, with elements like a dual texture seat, a retro front and a sleek rear tail lamp, is aimed to allure those with a knack for vintage in a modern avatar.

As for the convenience features in the Pleasure+ 110, the scooter comes with a USB charger located close to the front pocket for accessibility, an LED boot lamp, Integrated Braking System and a new backlit speedometer with fuel and side stand indicator.

The Pleasure+ 110 will be available in two color palettes to choose from – Sheet Metal Wheel with options like Glossy Black, Glossy Blue, Glossy White and Glossy Red and a Cast Wheel including options of Matt Red, Matt Green and Matt Vernier Grey.
