Honda Cars India has revealed a month-on-month development of 28% in traveller vehicle deals a month ago. Honda sold 9,072 vehicles in April, up from 7,103 units it could sell in March this year.

Commenting on this, Rajesh Goel, Senior Vice President and Director (Marketing & Sales) at Honda Cars India said, “The current health calamity has struck the entire nation and at this time nothing is more important than the health and well-being of our countrymen. Of course, it has had an impact on the business and deliveries in the marketplace, We are working closely with all our stakeholders and assisting in every possible way to tide through this situation,”
The carmaker had sold 3,697 units in March a year ago when deals got affected by cross country lockdown incited by Covid. In April, similar to any remaining carmakers in India, Honda had stalled out mentally due to the lockdown. The inventory requirements because of proceeding with worldwide deficiency of semi-conductors have affected Honda’s creation volume and dispatches, especially affecting Honda City.
