New 2021 Skoda Octavia launched at Rs 25.99 lakh in India. This launch has finally happened after the much delay due to the ongoing pandemic, as it was originally slated to launch in late 2020. This sedan has been priced at Rs 25.99 lakh for the base model.

As for the design, there hasn’t been much changed for the India-spec model from 2019. The new Octavia’s styling has been brought in line with the Czech carmaker’s current design language. This means, gone are the previous model’s quad-headlight headlight layout and in its place is a more conventional arrangement. It is available in standard colour options with the new Octavia which include the Lava Blue, Magic Black and Candy White and there are two additional colour options too which are Brilliant Silver and Maple Brown.

As for the powertrain, there is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, TSI turbo-petrol engine that produces 190hp and 320Nm. The engine comes paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox with a shift-by-wire selector. Skoda will not be offering the new Octavia with a diesel engine, in line with its decision to focus on the petrol segment more. While for the changes inside, there is a new layered design with the free-standing 10-inch touchscreen infotainment screen and 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.

Since the 150K roll out in November 2020, the last 50K units have been recorded in less than 6 months, with demand outpacing supply and production limited due to the pandemic. Tata Motors has been constantly upgraded the Nexon for safety, GNCAP certification, design, regulations, emissions, aspirational and segment-defining feature additions too. It is now available in 20 variants offering customers a product proposition at different price points. The range includes 12 variants in petrol and 8 variants in diesel with automatic and manual transmission options. New Jaguar F-Pace introduced at a price of Rs 69.99 Lakh in India. The new F-PACE is available for the first time in the R-Dynamic S trim on Ingenium 2.0 petrol and diesel powertrains. The 2.0 petrol engine can deliver the power of 184 kW and 365 Nm of torque while the 2.0 diesel engine can deliver a power of 150 kW and 430 Nm of torque. The new Jaguar F-PACE is priced at ₹ 69.99 Lakh.

There have been new LED quad headlights with ‘Double J’ Daytime Running Light (DRL) signatures that deliver increased resolution and brightness are added too. 

As for the all-new interior, it comes with heightened luxury, enhanced connectivity and greater refinement. Two new colourways have been introduced in Mars Red and Siena Tan for a unique, sporty and luxurious feel. The new cockpit design is bolder, more dynamic and with a greater focus on the driver. The new centre console incorporates a wireless device charging feature. There are new door casings, featuring a 360-degree grab handle, provide easier access and increased storage for bottles and other items.

Kia Sportage sets new standards with a new SUV design. Kia has revealed the official images of the all-new Sportage, it is an SUV that has been carefully crafted to inspire customers with its interior and exterior design.
