As for the Kia Sonet, it starts at the price of Rs. 6.79 lakhs and it goes up to Rs. 13.25 lakhs. These prices are also the ex-showroom prices. As for the changes, the new Sonet offers 10 new features.

Tata Motors announces Martin Uhlarik as the new Global Design Head

Tata Motors announces Martin Uhlarik as the new Global Design Head. Mr Uhlarik was till recently Head of Design for Tata Motors European Technical Centre. But now, he takes over his new role from Mr Pratap Bose who has chosen to left the company.

I take this opportunity to also thank Pratap for his services and wish him the best for the future.”

In the path of the 27-year career, Mr Uhlarik has been involved in the design of successful nameplates with leading global OEMs. He joined Tata Motors in 2016 as Head of Design, UK; he has led the development of the Impact 3 generation of vehicles. As for what he would be doing, Mr Uhlarik will continue to operate from TMETC in the UK. He will lead teams in the three Tata Motors Design centres in Coventry, Turin and Pune. He will report to Mr Shailesh Chandra, President, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors.

He has a degree in Industrial Design from the Ontario College of Art and Design University in Toronto, Canada in 1993 and a degree in Transportation Design from Art Center College of Design in Vevey, Switzerland in 1994.

In the weeks and months ahead, Uber will continue to remain committed to supporting India’s vaccination drive.”

Through this partnership, Uber says that they will provide 25,000 free rides over the coming months to facilitate the vaccination of the vulnerable and disadvantaged elderly. They would drive them to and from the nearest vaccination centers in 19 cities. These are Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Dehradun, Jaipur, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Mangalore, Indore, and Jodhpur. 

They had also partnered with HelpAge India in October 2020 to enable access to safe transportation for rescue, relief, medical, and other critical care needs of the disadvantaged elderly.
