Tata Tiago CNG Spied on the test, expected to be launched till Diwali 2021. The Tiago test mule was spied in Pune by Vijay Shinde and the car was not wearing full camouflage, it had even got the sticker that said On Test By ARAI. It had emission testing equipment fitted at the rear. ARAI emission/mileage ratings are believed to be the final phase of testing ahead of the official launch.

As for what we know so far, the design of the CNG variants will be in line with the facelifted version of their standard IC-engine counterparts. So, we don’t expect any major changes in the CNG models in terms of design or dimensions. However, as there haven’t been any images of either model’s interiors we can’t say anything at this moment although we do not expect any drastic differences from the regular model too.
Moving on to the powertrain, according to many leaks it could come with the same 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine under their hood. The engine would have 85 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque although in the CNG variants it is likely to generate a lower output. It is said to be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard.
