Skoda Auto India Private Limited has finally launched the all-new Skoda Slavia premium mid-size sedan in the country. The Skoda Slavia replaces the Rapid in the company’s India line-up and emerges as a more premium offering. Prices of this mid-size sedan have now been officially revealed. In this article, we have shared the top 5 highlights of the new 2022 Skoda Slavia.
2022 Skoda Slavia: Exterior
The new Skoda Slavia looks really good. Its sharp design draws a lot of eyeballs out on the streets and this mid-size sedan looks striking. Moreover, Skoda is offering the Slavia in a total of five different colour shades. They are – Tornado Red, Crystal Blue, Candy White, Reflex Silver and Carbon Steel.
2022 Skoda Slavia: Interior
The new Skoda Slavia is a very feature-loaded car and it has a lot of space inside the cabin. It gets a large 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Moreover, the car features an electric sunroof, a fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats and more.
2022 Skoda Slavia: Engine
Skoda is offering the Slavia with two engine options. It gets a 1.0-litre TSI motor that develops 115 PS and 178 Nm. This engine is paired with a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed torque-converter AT. It also gets a 1.5-litre TSI motor that develops 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of peak torque. This engine is offered with a 6-speed MT and a 7-speed DSG.
2022 Skoda Slavia: Safety
The new Skoda Slavia gets a host of safety features. This mid-size sedan gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, an electronic differential system (EDS), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill-hold control, a rear parking camera with reverse parking sensors, and more.
2022 Skoda Slavia: Price
The new Skoda Slavia is offered in three variants. They are – Active, Ambition and Style. The prices of this premium mid-size sedan start in India at Rs 10.69 lakh and it goes up to Rs 17.79 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. It rivals the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, and Honda City.
