Most carmakers including Tata, Ford, Toyota, Maruti Suzuki, Nissan, Datsun and Renault, will hike prices from May 2021. There were a number of carmakers who hiked prices of their cars and SUVs last month, some manufacturers are now announcing the same.

Whereas Renault has officially announced a price hike for its cars last month. Renault Kiger SUV is now up to Rs 30,000 dearer than before, ending the period of introductory prices announced at launch. As for MG Motors, they have hiked prices for the Hector siblings last month by up to Rs 43,000.
As for Volvo, they have announced a hike to the tune of Rs 1-2 lakh across its entire range of cars and SUVs on sale in India. This would be in effect from May this year. Moving to the Urban Cruiser, costs for the Maruti Vitara Brezza-based reduced SUV are presently up to Rs 12,500 more than previously. While Toyota has just now expanded costs for the two models, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Vitara Brezza had seen a climb as a feature of the brand’s April 2021 update for its whole line-up.
