Hero Electric announced the 4th edition of One Race SuperSikh Run: The half marathon will be held on 8th December 2019 in Lutyens Delhi

Hero Electric, today announced the 4th edition of One Race SuperSikh Run to promote Humanitarian Values & the concept of ‘Sewa’. Founded on four pillars – Sewa, Environment, Learning, Fitness (SELF), the SuperSikh Run is a celebration of humanity and eco-friendly environment.

The event was addressed by Arjuna Awardee Boxer Mr Mandeep Jangra along with the face of the event and Chief inspiration officer, Major DP Singh, Kargil war survivors and India’s first amputee marathoner and Limca Record holder.

ONE RACE SuperSikh Run is a Sewa inspired professionally managed Half Marathon event which has had three very successful editions in Delhi in 2018, 2017 and 2016. One Race takes place annually in New Delhi starting at the heritage site of Gurudwara Rakabganj Sahib in Lutyens Delhi. The 4th edition of the prestigious race will take place on 8th December and is expected to witness participation from over 7000 runners across extraordinary men and women.

To channelize the raw talent of young athletes in India, Hero Electric along with SuperSikh Foundation have initiated the Sub3010KM project. Under this, participants will get the opportunity to prove their mettle with Speed and Endurance by breaking the 30-minute barrier for 10Km run. The winners to break the Sub-30-minute barrier for Men and Sub 35-minute barrier for Women will be awarded Hero Electric Optima worth over Rs.65000/-

Earlier this month, Hero Electric flagged off the promo run ahead of ONE RACE SuperSikh run on 9th November. The run was flagged off from Hero Electric’s head office in Gurugram and saw participation from over 200 runners. Keeping in mind the rising pollution levels in Delhi-NCR and as part of Hero Electric’s #CodeGreen initiative, the company encouraged runners to wear face buffs and jerseys with the message ‘Beat Air Pollution’ and ‘Let’s breathe better, let’s go electric’ written on them as a symbol of protest against air pollution.

SuperSikh Run is the most prestigious cause led Half Marathon race in New Delhi and has been achieved due to the support and guidance that the event receives from the administration, patrons and participants alike.

Audi presents its futuristic technology to the public through the world’s most advanced hyper-reality experience. In “The e-tron room: the Future Paradox”, participants travel through time, passing different tests until they reach their final destination: the future.

The mobility of the future is now a reality and features a new way of travelling that will take you a long way. Under this slogan, Audi presents its new hyper-reality experience, “The e-tron room: the Future Paradox” in Spain. The brand of the four rings already used for the first time the innovative escape room format to raise public awareness of its electric propulsion technology through an entertaining series of trials and challenges, with the Audi e-tron as the focus.

Now, to overcome the new challenges posed by the most advanced hyper-reality experience in the world, participants will be equipped with the latest technology, such as motion sensors and VivePro virtual reality glasses. Audi’s new escape room has an algorithm that interprets movement in real-time and builds a full-scale avatar of the player, allowing total body immersion. In addition, for the first time, there will be a real actor, who plays the role of a robot, and will act as an advisor during the trip, accompanying the players and making the experience unique.

The distinguishing feature is the motion capture system, which has 36 cameras and 28 sensors, and allows players’ activity and the positions of different objects in the room to be transposed into the virtual world. “For almost an hour, participants will travel through hyper-reality to a series of points in time until they reach the future. We have worked to create the only multiplayer entertainment experience of its kind in the world, to raise public awareness of Audi’s vision of future mobility,” explains Caita Montserrat, Audi’s Marketing Manager.

“The e-tron room: the Future Paradox” will make its first appearance in Madrid (Calle San Cayetano, 5), from 24 October to 13 November, from 10:00 to 19:00 Monday to Sunday. After finishing in Madrid, it will open its doors in Barcelona (Carrer Aragó, 425) from 27 January to 16 February. To reserve a place, participants can register at www.etronroom.com, where sessions will be opened every week through codes obtained in the social media of Audi Spain (@audispain) after solving different riddles. Team participation is crucial, and the sessions will take place in groups of 3 to 4 people.

With this experience, Audi raises public awareness of electric mobility in a striking and innovative way, allowing people to discover its 100% electric model, the Audi e-tron.

MG Hector booking to re-open on October 1

MG Motor India will re-open the booking for Hector on October 1, 2019. The MG Hector was announced in India back in April and went on sale starting June 2019. MG Hector was announced as India’s first Internet Car. The company received over 10,000 bookings within a month and just after a month, MG Motor temporarily closed the bookings for the SUV. The MG Hector had received around 21,000 pre-bookings before the bookings were closed.

The booking will open on October 1, 2019, and the company has planned to produce 3,000 units per month starting October. MG Hector Sharp and Smart variants have received the highest share of bookings with over 50%.

MG Motor partnered with global tech companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Unlimited, SAP, Cisco, Gaana, TomTom and Nuance, the carmaker unveiled several industry-first features of Internet-enabled cars that will be available in the MG Hector. The brain of the iSMART Next Gen will be housed in a 10.4-inch Head Unit. The screen is designed with a vertical interface that allows the driver to control the entire car system with just a touch or voice command. The Head Unit is built to withstand extreme climatic conditions of India. It comes pre-loaded with entertainment content.

MG Hector iSMART Next Gen comes with an industry first embedded M2M sim that ensures that the car remains connected. The customized solution has been developed by Unlimit in partnership with Cisco and Airtel who have collaborated with their Jasper platform and telecommunication network respectively. The connected mobility solution on the MG Hector is Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPV6) ready for 5G.

Customers will be able to download the software updates immediately or schedule them for later, as in smartphones. The OTA feature would be standard in all MG cars enabled with iSMART NextGen for connected mobility, starting with MG Hector SUV. One of the best features of the MG Hector SUV is Voice Assist that works on the cloud and head unit. Developed by Nuance for MG India, it has been specifically designed for India for an Indian accent. As a result of built-innAI and ML algorithms, the system will learn and get better every day with usage. The Voice Assistant can be activated with ‘Hello MG’,  including opening and closing of windows and sunroof, ac control, navigation, etc. and works even under poor connectivity.

The iSMART Next Gen is supported by the iSMART mobile App. MG iSMART App is feature-rich like none other in the Indian market. The car gets scanned each time the App is opened, and information includes the location of the car, tyre pressure, or if the doors are locked or not. The owner can use the remote app to directly lock or unlock doors, turn on the ignition and switch on the air-conditioner. This is very useful in extreme weather conditions of India. It would also allow owners to schedule a service and keep track of service history. The App uses driver analytics data to help people drive smarter. The iSMART is hosted on Microsoft Azure Cloud providing impregnable cybersecurity for all data.

Ducati Multistrada V4 Launching in 2021

Recently, Ducati announced that the Multistrada family has reached the 100,000-bike milestone since the lineup was started in 2003. Now, according to a new report, the company is expected to launch Ducati Multistrada V4 in 2021. So, if this happens to be true, we will see the bike making its debut later next year.

Ducati’s Multistrada V4 in the news on the internet for a while now and there are images of the bike on the web already which is under testing. One thing to note is that the Ducati Multistrada V4 will be sold alongside the L-twins and won’t replace them.

Ducati has been working on the Multistrada V4 engine to maximize the potential. The Multistrada V4 is expected to come in two variants – base and a more premium S variant with Skyhook suspension setup and a host of electronic goodies.

Ducati Multistrada Sales Reaches 1 Lakh Globally

It’s been sixteen years since the first Multistrada rolled off the assembly line, and now the company has announced that the Multistrada family has now reached the 100,000-bike milestone. Multistrada number 100,000, a Pikes Peak version of 1260 with a customized laser marking on the top yoke, was handed over to Dave Hayward – a German Ducatista who had ordered his Multistrada from the Düsseldorf dealership – by Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali in person.

Back in 2010 the Multistrada was the first bike to feature riding modes, the system that changes the very character of the bike. The tagline for the advertising campaign read: “four bikes in one”. With the D|Air version, introduced in 2014, Ducati offered the first motorcycle with a system capable of interfacing with a dedicated airbag-equipped jacket. In 2015 it became the first motorcycle to feature a variable-timing engine: the Testastretta DVT (Desmodromic Variable Timing).

The new Multistrada 950 launched this year is also available as an S version and is designed to put Multistrada performance within everyone’s reach while maximizing versatility, thanks also to the 19’’ front wheel. The most recent interpretation of the original dual-purpose sports concept, the Multistrada 1260 combines the comfort and load capacity of a dual-purpose bike with tire sizes, wheels, and brakes that are, instead, typical of sports motorcycles. Equipped with Öhlins suspension, forged wheels and a carbon fiber end pipe, the Pikes Peak model offers maximum sports performance.

Furthermore, Ducati has come up with the Multistrada 1260 Enduro, designed to take on the toughest terrain and longest journeys thanks to the 30-liter tank, long-travel suspension, 19’’ front rim and, of course, the hard-wearing spoked wheels.

KTM Duke 125, RC 125 Prices Hiked in India

KTM India has hiked the prices of Duke 125 and RC 125 bikes in the country. The Duke 125 has got an INR 2,248 hike while the Duke RC 125 has been hiked by INR 1,537. The new prices of motorcycles are as follows:

  • KTM Duke 125 – INR 1,32,500 (ex-showroom price, Delhi)
  • KTM Duke RC 125 – INR 1,48,750 (ex-showroom price, Delhi)

The prices of the Duke 125s have been hiked in order to increase the dealer margin, said the report.

The KTM Duke 125, the cheapest Duke bike available in the country and is a fairly popular motorcycle among the youths and has been performing pretty well since the launch.  The KTM Duke RC 125 is an incremental version of the Duke 125, it shares same engine and mechanicals as the Duke 125. In addition to these, the RC 125 comes with low-set-clip-on, sporty riding positions.

The Duke 125 comes in three shades – Orange, Black, and White.

The german-based luxury car manufacturer, Audi has launched a new special edition of Audi Q7 in India. The latest special edition car from the company is called ‘Audi Q7 Black Edition’ and it is only limited to 100 units. The special edition Audi Q7 will come with exclusive blacked-out elements on the exterior. The roof rails and alloy wheels also come in black design.

Further, it will also come with grille frame, Titanium Black Gloss finish, the door trim strips feature Titan Black Gloss with Quattro embossing, the moldings on the windows and roofline get a High Gloss Black look and the rear features a Titanium Black Matt one.

Coming to the interior trimmings and equipment, however, the Q7 Black Edition very similar to the Q7 Technology trim. The Q7 Black Edition costs about INR 1 lakh more than the Q7 in Technology trim. The Q7 Black Edition is priced at INR 82.15 lakh for the 45 TFSI petrol and INR 86.30 lakh for the 45 TDI diesel. Additionally, Audi India also kickstarted a programme for the festive season, valid until September 30. With the new programme, buyers will get benefit from the Government of India’s added 30 percent depreciation schemes.
