New 2021 Audi RS3 unveiled. The brand has updated the design, technology and powertrain for its new, third-generation version of its hardcore RS3. According to reports, it is revealed in hatchback and sedan forms, the RS3 will go on sale in the UK market starting from the month of August.

The new RS3 gets a new front-end design which is comprising of a contrasting black grille surround that extends into the headlight clusters. The headlight cluster themselves are optionally available as matrix LED items with darkened bezels. While the side skirts are finished in black, too, as are the wing mirrors, rear diffuser and, optionally, the roof. The car is available in two new colours which are Kyalami Green and Kemora Grey.

Moving to the inside, there is a 12.3-inch digital display is standard and features RS-specific tachometer and power usage graphics. It also includes an ‘RS Runway’ design too, and not to forget the 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen can display an ‘RS Monitor’ showing coolant, engine and gearbox oil temperatures as well. 

As for the powertrain, the car gets a 2.5-litre, five-cylinder turbocharged motor engine. Furthermore, the engine sends 400hp through a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox to both axles. Also, the maker claims that it can go from standstill to 100kph in just 3.8sec and to an optional maximum speed of 290kph. The engine here comes with 500Nm of torque available at 2,250-5,600rpm, the new RS3 is claimed to accelerate “even faster from low ranges” than its predecessor.
