Isuzu D-Max V-Cross and MU-X BS6 to launch on 10th May 2021. Both the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross pick-up and MU-X would be returning in BS6-spec this year. The two models will be joined by a new Hi-Lander pick-up, which is essentially a lower derivative of the V-Cross.

As for what are the expectations from both these new Isuzu cars, as Isuzu had already revealed the D-Max for international markets back in 2019, there is more info about it. It would come with a 1.9-litre diesel engine that can develop 163hp and 360Nm – up to 13hp and 10Nm over the BS4 model. As for the equipment, it would carry LED projector headlamps, keyless entry, auto climate control, a 7.0-inch touchscreen, parking camera, dual airbags and ABS. Moving to the Hi-Lander, it would carry the same 1.9-litre diesel engine but only in two-wheel drive form and with a manual gearbox.

As with the V-Cross, it has been upgraded to meet all the BS6 norms. There isn’t much info available but it would be three full-size row SUV, though the model is likely to soldier on with an updated version of the previously available 3.0-litre diesel engine.
